The simple things in life are there for appreciation. Self is the first obvious one to appreciate. Self-developments and achievements. Educational, social, weight-loss, or business goals reached should be appreciated no matter the measure of success. Success is accomplishing your goals. That's why they say it's better to set obtainable goals. An appreciation of yourself is better than being your own worst critic.
Family is the second thing to appreciate. The unity and bonding of family members is the first step in learning how to negotiate. Since family members are the first to network when starting a new business, the lesson of negotiating is kindled as you hear their interests, concerns, and challenging questions. Even if your family don't support your ideas, you'll have to appreciate the honesty of their response. Some people don't have a family at all or can't get along with the one they have. If you have a decent family relationship appreciated it while you can.
